I had Facebook account from my yahoo I'd, but I have de activated a year ago. Now from last couple of months I have been receiving notification from Facebook on my Gmail acc, n the people I don't even know them. I have never signed for Facebook from my gmail account. I don't know what to do. I can't find an email contact for Facebook.

Those are spam, garbage e-mails. They are sent out by the billions every day. Don't be so gullible and never open e-mails unless you either know the person who sent it or you elicited the e-mail from some other source.

maybe someone used your email address to create an account, however unlikely
go to facebook and click on forgot password, then enter your gmail address, and see if they send you a password reset link
if they do, then click that link and select a new password
once you are in that facebook account, you can choose to delete it by going here (while logged in to facebook)

you may also want to change the password for your gmail account to be sure that someone else cannot do the same thing i just described
