Someone I know posted something and I got a notification but then when I clicked on it it wasnt there nemore, is there any way to look and see what he wrote?

i get notifications emailed to me
and once someone wrote a comment on my wall, then deleted it
but it was emailed to me so i saw it anyway hah
so thats the only way i believe
