what i mean here is like if someone already retweeted your tweets before and you set your account to private would the retweet counts for my tweet reset completely? and would they disappear from other's profile (since they retweeted it before)?

No, retweets are like making copies. Once retweeted, there is a copy out there that belongs solely to the re-tweeter.

If it's already been retweeted, even after you changed the settings, what was retweeted BEFORE you made your account private, will still be visible. You should know though that regardless if your account is private, tweets can still be retweeted manually (i.e RT @username: [whatever you wrote in your tweet here]). That in mind, your account is never truly "private".
