Stalker on Twitter, maybe? - sometime.september - 10-02-2012 08:40 AM
I always used to make fun of Twitter and hate it, but recently I saw a movie that starred Jesse McCartney and I'm going through this phase where I think he's cute, so I made a Twitter account just to follow him on there, for fun. I'm not following anyone but him and I don't even post anything. I have zero "tweets" and I don't go on there unless I get an e-mail notification about something. But there is someone who started "following" me on there. They didn't put their real name as the display name and they don't have a picture. Their account is locked and I can't access any information on them. Yet, they are following ME. I sent this person a direct message saying, "Who are you?", and no answer yet. Has this happened to anyone else? I just think it's weird...and...I've had people stalking me before and I really wouldn't want to experience this again. I don't have many friends, and the ones that I do, either have a Twitter account (with THEIR picture on it) or don't have one at all. I haven't given this link out to anyone!

okay on twitter, anyone can follow anyone. its weird but i have followers that i have no clue who they are and i have followed random people before. i wouldnt worry too much. did you check who this "stalker" was following? if he is ONLY following you then thatd be a little weird yeah, but chances are that he is following a lot of people who he may or may not know.
