how do keep my mother off my facebook page? - JayDa T - 11-09-2012 05:34 PM

I can't talk to my friends or comment on any thing with out my mom saying something-its so embarrassing and irritating. How do I keep her out of my business with out deleting her?

Well, you can't. Unless you remove her as a friend or block her.

you can hide your photo albums from her as well as your status updates...

Make a secondary facebook page that your mom doesn't know about with a whole new e-mail and password linked to it.

If she's not on your friends list, make everything private.
And if she is, all you can do is block her, but she might not take that too well.

Try talking to her, ask if she'd remind you removing her from your Facebook because you deserve some privacy.

You are either too young for facebook or she is too old.One of you has to let it go.

There is a symbol of a lock next to everything you post, click on it then click customize, put in the person you want to hide posts from. For more privacy settings, click "account" on the top right then click "privacy settings" go down to the bottom right and click "controlling how you share".

or do what Frank Mckiernan said

Good Luck Wink

hey its so easy..
see on right side of your page for option "account" --> privacy settings --> customize settings
and edit each option from here n go to its customize, from there you can stop your mother to see your activities.
hope it helps
