How do I disable getting notifications for facebook applications? - Amber - 11-09-2012 05:43 PM
Recently, I've been getting notifications for applications on facebook like invites to play cityville or whatever. I want to turn off the notifications but, I don't know how since, I have the new facebook profile and the fact they've updated stuff.
These application invites are starting to get annoying and it's filling up my notification notices and I don't want notifications for ANY of them anymore. How do I turn it off?

go to my account on facebook
then go to the notifications tab
scroll all the way down to where it says 'other apps' and uncheck whatever you dont want to be notified about
