When i click on the show all notifications on my facebook account i do not see any "likes" notifications that shows up yet my brother's facebook shows "Like" notifications and on the right side there is an App for Likes. Mine does not have this option however.

People need to "Like" your statuses before you ge the notifications.

Someone has to "like" your posts in order for you to get that notification.
