I really really want a facebook but my parents won't let me have one (I've halfway convinced my mom where she said to go ask my dad) That's the hard part. My sister said she'd make me one but she gets annoyed when i ask and she said that like 4 months ago. Plus, I already have yahoo (obviously) and twitter (which i would be willing to delete cuz it deeply sucks) I really want facebook soon. ITS FREE! They shouldn't have any reasons to say no Have any ideas how i can convince them?

Facebook is useless and abuses your privacy.

umm come up with a compropise. like if you make a facebook, then you'll do chores without pay for a year, or somethng, just come up with some kind of compromise.

I had to do the same thing 4 years ago for a Myspace, and I was 12 at the time, now I'm 16. My parents are alright with it now, as long as my Facebook and Myspace is both on private. Tell them that you'll keep it on private, and give them your password (that is sort of irritating though, even if you don't have anything should you be hiding) although it'll give them a sense of security. Also, have them make one too and add them as your parents.
