Facebook chat = more likely to talk it out, closer to a "real" conversation
Text = most likely just going to be the one break up text
Which would you consider to be worse?
Oh dear, I'm not planning on doing this to anyone! I haven't been in a relationship for a pretty long time. I've been broke up with both ways and I was just wondering what others thought.
Trust me, I have enough balls to do it in person!

If you're thinking about doing one of these, that's terrible. If you want your ex to respect you afterhe relationship, you need to do itnin person. If this is just curiosity, I think a FB message would be worse, because I know my friends use each other's FBs, and I wouldn't be sure if it was real.
