Me & my girlfriend just went from the talking stage to making it official today & I was wondering which one of us should change our status first on myspace & facebook from "single" to "in a relationship" cuz I don't wanna look desperate but at the same time I don't wanna mess up if she's waiting on me to do it first

Just do it. If she doesnt change her status within a week ask her whats up. you guys started dating so letting others know is okay

I don't think it really matters? I did before my boyfriend, but he's also one of those people that never changes the status lol. Its just myspace..
