This guy messaged me on facebook and said he was from Tunisia and that he knew me. I just wanted to find out more about tunisia because he is white

Most of them are probably white, but dont take my word for it b/c ive never met someone from there. But all i know is that in North Africa you have a WIDE vareity of looks.

You know just because Africa is called the black continent , it does not mean all people from there are necessarily black or have the same looks or color.
But generally speaking , in historical terms which may or may not apply to every place today; most of the Black skinned Africans are south of the Sahara desert (aka sub-saharan), and most of the people in north are called Arabs and are of a different race but they are African as well (in terms of geography). But as you know demographics change constantly because people marry outside their region and migrate as well. (P.S. there are also Black Arabs and Blond Arabs so skin color is no indication).

Hi i'm tunisian ,most of the people in the north of africa(Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Algeria, Egypt ) are white ,but there's no difference between people all of us are humans ,i'm white but i don't see where is the problem if the others are black or yellow ...,all of us are humans .

northern africa, from Egypt to Morroco are white,
The black race starts from subsaharien countries; like Mali; Chad; Mouritania and going down

the majority of us are white.. i mean black people are very few but not all people look white since u can see Tunisians that look like Latinos, coccasins, Asians..
for example my father has blue eyes and fair skin while my mum has dark eyes and a slightly tanned skin, also i have a friend how has Asian features and my fiancé looks as if he is half black (but he's not) lool.
so don't worry the guy is telling u the truth.
