There is a Rumour that facebook is going to close bacause its owner MARK has earned so much money from it and has been done a lot hard work and now he want to go to his normal life. may be it will be true because it could, if it is may be someone other will buy facebook and keep it running. but is there someone who could buy it. its very messive and needs a lot of funds to do... you people have some answer about this then please share it here... Regards

Iv'e heard so too.. but i'm not sure. some people says we are gonna have to start paying to use it..but we are not sure as yet.

Selling the company is the first step in its downfall. It's all happened before. AOL, Myspace, Yahoo, etc. all began their downward slide when they sold.

I think if this rumor had any truth to it, with all of the popularity Facebook has generated, we would have heard about it on the news, in the papers, somewhere other than through word-or-mouth. Someone of importance would have confirmed such a story.

No, it's not true, it's just a rumor that was created by mixing two different news, probably started by a satirical page.
Facebook already responded to this rumor by saying that it's not true and that they are just getting started.
