Help! Need information!!? - Yoli - 10-02-2012 10:28 AM

Alright, so you probably read the title and thought "thanks for giving lots of detail." Well, this is what i mean: I want to be an author when i grow up, but i don't want to publish books now ( i am only 14) and i know people do publish books at my age or younger, but i don't won't to yet until i think i am actually capable of write my best book and completing it. (i always get to the fourth chapter and get bored) so my actual question:
Are there writing websites where i can sort of publish them on there, people can read them and like it or dislike, comment, give it a number of stars, things like that. I don't want to put it on facebook, or twitter or any of those types of things. An actual writing/ blog type of website that is free.

I think a lot of young people use Wattpad.com. You should check it out.

Idk why but some people don't like fan fiction.net. I love it. its a fanfic place but if your writing your own stuff then publish it on the second website called fiction press its free just create a password and name put in your email and you pretty much good to go. You can have cover art and people can favorite, alert, and comment on your stories. This site may not look as cool as some others but I really like it and recommend it. To sign up just click the button on the top right corner and follow from there. I use this site too.
