Is it inappropriate to have slightly revealing pictures of yourself on your facebook in this situation? - ♥ - 11-09-2012 06:11 PM

Would you consider it to be inappropriate for a college girl to have slightly revealing pictures of herself (like a sexy halloween costume) on facebook if tons of her relatives are on there too and can easily see it?

Hmm.

Well, not only her relatives....but prospective employers as well.

What you should be worried about is getting a job in the future when you are done with college. Many employers seek potential employees out on the social sites so if you think the pictures might jeopardize any chance of you getting a job, then you shouldn't post them.

Inappropriate, well could be it depends on how you feel about yourself and if you don't mind people judging you or questions at family gatherings. If you feel the family might be offened and you don't know how to say mind your business in a nice way then yes in appropriate.

Yes, unless she can block those relatives from seeing that album.

Also, you never know when that stuff will come back to bite that girl in the butt. So many things on the internet are cached, and her future employers might find them in a search and question her judgment and pass her right by.

I keep everything on the internet professional because you never know who is looking.

if it WAS appropriate, you wouldn't have asked.....
