Yep. That shows both distrust and insecurity. It's a bad habit, and can grow into a real problem, and can lead to nothing but unhappiness later in life.

its normal, plus arent you connected on FB? I would think your boyfriend would be your FB friend. You should be able to look at all your friends pages. Plus its only smart to google or check up on people you are dating, better safe than sorry.
