How do you get your family members to show on your facebook profile? - Gaby Jonas - 11-09-2012 06:20 PM

I tried to get my family members to show, and on some people's profiles they do show, but not on mine. Only my birthday, school and relationship status shows. How do I get my sisters/brothers to show?!

1.) Go to your profile and click the "Info" tab.
2.) Click "Edit" on the "Basic Information" section.
3.) There should be a "Family Members" section, where it gives you the option to add a family member.
4.) Click "Add a family member" and type a name.
5.) Facebook will ask you to send a request to the brother/sister on Facebook so that they can "accept" the family request.
6.) If your brother/sister accepts the family request, their name will appear under the "Siblings" section in basic info as a link to their profile. If your brother/sister denies or ignores the family request, the name will appear there but only as normal text - not a link. Also, if your brother/sister isn't on Facebook, you can still list them as your brother/sister, but no link will appear because they're not there to accept any requests....

I hope that helped. ^_^

If you go on your profile page, you'll see a box on the left, below your profile picture titled "Information". Click the little pencil icon on the right of the box to edit it. A list of checkboxes will come up. Tick the ones you want to be shown on your main profile page. In this case, tick "Siblings" and "Children".
Your family members are also shown in the Basic Information section in the "Info" tab.
