My friend has a sister, and she's nice and stuff so do you think it would be too awkward or should I add her on FB? She's older than me by about 6 years btw. Would she accept my request?

I think this would be a dilemma if she friend requested you. As that is not the case, it's an easy no. Don't friend request your friends sister.

If you talk to her and get along add her. My friends have added my sister she doesn't care at all
