Being not known good on the internet is a common problem. It could be any number of things that keep people from following you. You walk around in circles. You don't have anything interesting to say. It could be the lack of good grammar! You might smell bad! Or you're ugly. Who knows?

No one is following you because nobody cares what you are doing every second of the day.
If you want followers that badly you have to make interesting updates or be a celebrity. Don't just say things like "I am eating a sandwich", that's boring.
If you reply to people you are following and get your twitter name out there people might become interested in what you have to say.
Being desperate on YA won't get many people interested.

It's known well, not known good. Maybe you just aren't that interesting.
