How do I hide my friend's (one specific person) status updates or posts on Facebook? - Xan Wu - 11-09-2012 06:27 PM

There's this friend I'm mad with, but I don't want to delete or block him. And I don't want to be updated by what he says on Facebook
I really hate him, but whenever I delete him from Facebook I end up adding him back. and even if I delete him, I'll be able to see what he says coz he is friends with my older sister and niece.
How?

If all you want to do is stop his updates from showing up on your Newsfeed, the next time he posts something, move your mouse over the update in your newsfeed, and an 'x' will appear in the top right corner of the update. Click the 'x' and then choose "hide this person" (or some similar phrasing).

Whenever you see him on your newsfeed, or homepage, mouse over the status update, or picture or whatever it it. You'll see a black x appear in the top right corner. Click it, and then you'll see a box that says "Hide *Name*" click it, and he'll be removed from your newsfeed forever unless you change it by going to your account settings.
