So about a month into our relationship, my girlfriend cheated on me with this guy. She promised it would never happen again and she would not talk to him anymore. I was bored so like 2 months later I went on her facebook and saw she had a chat with the guy saying how she misses talking to him. She also says that she couldn't talk to him much because I didn't allow it or whatever. Should I see this as a problem? She never mentioned anything bad or anything like that.

get STD testing, let her talk to whomever she chooses, and move on with your life. see a counselor to work on your self esteem issues.

No, I don't think it's a problem. I think it's great that your girlfriend is faithful enough to actually tell the guy that she cheated on you with that she couldn't talk to him anymore! However, I think it might be an extreme to have her stop talking to him completely...maybe you can tell her he can just be friends with her? :/ It's up to you, but I don't think it's a problem at all.

Yes, she cannot be trusted.
Her desire to reach out and contact him again, despite what has happened and despite her promise, obviously indicates she still has feelings for him.
You cannot control her. And once a cheater, always a cheater.
Dump her, and find a girl who will respect you and the relationship. Do not try to control women.
Also, $10 says after you dump her, she goes out with the guy.
