They had that annoying little box at the top forever nagging me to get one, but I closed it. And now I don't know how to get one
. How do you get it? It's not under account settings.

their should be a link at the top. if not contact facebook.

the us isnt really usuable you still log in with your email

go to your info box on your profile and click edit information. then you click on the box that says contact information and then it says-
IM Screen Name(s):. then you fill it in and choose what service screenname you use. (aim, windows live, yahoo ect) then press- save changes and you're done.
