Just about anything you write will look suspicious. Just send her a private message?

I think it would easier if u just private message her. Or you could have a special code between the two of you.

When I can't use Facebook, for whatever the reason, I usually resort to skywriting. This could work for you because if you sky write "I Love You" over your girlfriend's neighborhood she can deny that the message was intended for her unless she lives in a castle on a cul-de-sac at the end of an isolated road.

All I know is that whatever it is my son does on Facebook it always gets back to his mother through her friends who are all the mothers of the kids he communicates with. You will almost certainly put your girlfriend in a similar bind even if you think in good faith that Pig Latin is indecipherable to parents. We invented Pig Latin. You cannot fool us that easily. Give your girlfriend a rose, meet her for a movie matinee, take a photo of a sunset and put it in a frame for her, or buy her a book and inscribe it to "my best friend."

Don't go the Facebook route. It's too risky since attentive parents are in play, and you will be sorry if word gets back to her father. Better that you gather up your courage and talk to her father face to face about your feelings for his daughter. The result probably won't be any different, but he would have to have some grudging respect for your courage and directness.

Go with a photo of the sun rising over the ocean (a visual metaphor for the feelings you have for your girlfriend) and put it in a nice frame. That's my advice.

Good luck kid.

Send her a inbox!!!!! (Then only her can see it)

Or you could ring her up, that is more personal to her :-)
