Can I sue my mother-in-law for mental anguish? - elkrivermr - 11-09-2012 06:29 PM

She is a terror because she absolutely refuses to to take her Bi-polar medication. We have tried moving, refusing phone calls, blocking her on Facebook, cutting all ties and relations but nothing has worked. She is a nightmare to us, our children, and is wearing my father-in-law into the ground with her fits of anger, shopping, sleepless nights and who knows what else. Serious answers only please, I have already come up with all of the funny ones.

Nope that is not a grounds for any sort of law suit and if she is found to be mentally challenged you can petition the court to have her committed

No.
You do not have a case especially if her hassling of you is caused by a mental condition
