How to access a blocked website? - anthonyyeung@rocketmail.com - 11-09-2012 06:33 PM

My brother, being the d#ck that he is blocked twitter, facebook, and youtube from our local internet via the modem and I'm looking for a solution to bypass his annoying blocks? Any ideas?

Goto getus.in just like any other web address, Enter the address of the site you want to goto.
Done

My solution: rather than trying to access a blocked website, unblock the website.

Firstly, it's probably a program installed on your computer that's doing the blocking, not the modem. Check your browser's proxy settings and disable the proxy if one is in use.

If no proxy is being used, then it probably is on the modem side. You can login to the modem by finding your local gateway IP address (the user is generally admin, password is either admin, blank or password).

You can find the local gateway IP by opening up the command prompt and running "ipconfig /all" (minus quotes).

If there's any parts of that that is confusing, google is your friend.
