I have twitter and facebook applications on my blackberry curve but it keeps notifying me with a sound every time i get a facebook notification. I don't want this! How do i stop it? Or at least silence it?

Turn off the sound notifications in the app.

Go into options in facebook app

Open the FB app
Press the Menu key and select Options
Scroll down to the bottom to turn off Facebook notifications
