Do you believe there should be laws against reading others text messages? - ME! - 11-09-2012 06:45 PM

I mean think about it. It is against the law to read e-mails and the mail of other people regardless their age. So, do you believe that reading someones text messages should be against the law as well. Regardless if the person is on your "plan" or not. Same as your mother cant read your mail if you reside at her residents or not. This is not the case for myself but, do you believe that it will become a growing problem considering text message is a fairly new advance in technology?

There should be. Msg and emails should be considered as 'letters'. It's part of people's privacy.

Sorry. The younger generation has a very skewed sense of privacy. Feel free to look at my body parts on Facebook, but don't you dare read my email. Guess what? Electronic messages are not like letters; they're like postcards. They're "out there." BTW, ask your boss when you're sending stuff out on his computer during your lunchtime whether he has the right to read your stuff. Also, if Mom pays the email bill, it's her email, not yours. In that respect, "The man who pays the piper calls the tune." Understand?
