How do you contact facebook in this situation? - Joshua Darkwood - 11-09-2012 06:49 PM

Hello. My grandma died two years ago from cancer. She was very close to me, and it still hurts a little. So when I saw that someone is using my grandma's facebook account to advertise their products I was, and am, absolutely furious. I reported both posts, and tried to click "Send a more detailed report" but it said I did not have the permissions to do that. How do I contact a facebook staff member, or someone that can do something about this?
Thank you.

You need to take control of her fb account by getting the password. However, you also need to get control of the email account that was registered to her fb.

When you are able to get her email account's password, request for a password reset from fb. It will be sent to her email address. When you are in her fb account, you can deleted those posts and block those posters from writing on her wall.

Now how can you gain access to her email? Request for a password reset also but you probably don't know where it will be sent. It's probably to her alternate email. Now it's getting complicated!
