A ton of people in my grade have them and so do all my friends from camp and vacation.
Should I get one? My brother said it is stupid if you are not in high school but I don't see why.

It is really your own choice unless your parents have a policy against it. I personally would not recommend it because it places all of your personal information out there for the world to see, but it is up to you.
If you really want one then go for it.

Facebook is great to keep in touch with people. Just don't add random people who you don't know.. because my freind got a FB stalker and it was pretty bad. lol, just be smart about what info you put on there.

your brother is probably just being a pest. Facebook isn't just for highschoolers but for everyone. That's why it was created. DUH! (lol)
Besides eighth grade means you're well on your way to high school any way. If you want to keep in touch with friends then facebook is definitely the way to go =) just be sure not to get obsessed with it lol =) hope i helped =)

I think you should get one because you can just easily connect to your camp/class friends. I was in 7th grade when I first have it. So yeah, good luck xD

its ure choice but i must warn u some people get real addicted to it and depend on it for socialising rather than going out there and meeting people!!
