I have to close a gmail account to which facebook is linked and want to transfer it to a yahoo account. How? - Patrick - 11-09-2012 06:54 PM

the gmail account is linked to a website that will expire at 12 midnight August 15th and I will not be renewing. I am told that the gmail account will automatically expire if the web domain is not renewed. So I want to transfer the entire existing facebook account to my yahoo email if possible.

Hello Patrick,

Hello Joseph,

To unlink Google Gmail account, please follow these steps:
1. Log into your Facebook account
2. Click on "Account" in the upper right hand corner.
3. Then select "Account Settings"
4. Under General, click on "Edit" next to "Linked Accounts."
5. Click on "Remove" next to Google!

To add Yahoo! as a linked account to Facebook, do the following:
1. Click on "Account" in the upper right hand corner.
2. Then select "Account Settings"
3. Under General, click on "Edit" next to "Linked Accounts."
4. Click on "Add a new linked account" and select "Yahoo!"
5. Click on "Link New Account"
7. Reenter your Facebook password and press "Confirm"
8. Click on "Continue"
9. If you are not already logged into Yahoo!, it will prompt you to do so

You're done.

Hope this helps,
Tonya
