How do you get maximum hits when placing a video from youtube on face book, the hits from friends looking at it via face book don't seem to show up on the you tube vid. Why?

If you posted a link to the video's URL on YouTube, or shared via YouTube, the views should show up.
Wait a day in case YouTube is being slow about your stats.
Did your friends actually click on it and play the video? My experience is that unless a video looks really interesting, only a relative handful of my Facebook friends will actually watch it.
