How can I send messages privately on Facebook ? - Deepak - 11-09-2012 07:02 PM

I love Facebook, but want to limit my messages to a small group. Is there an easy way to do this, and also make sure that Facebook can't read it ?

If you want to send a private message, dont write it on wall. You should go for write message (upper left of facebook page). This message will only be read by the person to whom you have send the message. Noone else can access it.

Facebook's business model depends on the ability to monetize their subscriber's preferences and content for marketing purposes. What's a user supposed to do, if they want to continue to use the service. A simple approach is to use the service - but take privacy back into you own hands by making it impossible for Facebook to see what you’re writing.

Cloakguard’s free browser plugin helps do this. Just select the message you'd like to keep private, pick a Keyword and CLOAK it. Then even though you send it through Facebook, only the people you've shared your keyword with can read that message.

well the only way to keep facebook from not reading it is to use another mailer you can most likl;y get the persons email for their info tab on their profile just copy that and then got to your yahoo mail or what ever you use

i dont know about facebook reading your messages......uhhhhh...

but you can make a message and let a particular group of people read it.

1. click on send a new message and the message box will appear.

2. on the "To" box, type a name of one of your friends and a drop down box will come out. click on your friend's name.

3. repeat this type-and-choose cycle until you get to include all the people whom you want to read your message..

4. create your message and send. once they reply, it'll be a THREAD which will be read by everyone tagged in the message.

enjoy! ^.^
