If you delete a comment you posted on facebook, does that person still get the notification? - john - 11-09-2012 07:03 PM

I accidentally commented on a stranger's photo that my friend was tagged in thinking that it was hers. It was sort of awkward. About 5 seconds later, I deleted it. Would the notification have gotten deleted along with my comment?

No, but when they go to view it nothing will be there so they won't see anything.

They will get the notification, but they can't view the comment.

If it was five seconds? Yes. But they probably hadn't clicked it by the time it was deleted, so no worries. They'd get an error message and assume fb messed it up. And why are you friends with a stranger?
