She pretends her celebrity crush is following her on twitter. She said she was meeting up with him and it ended in a massive row with both of us crying. A few days later she told me he wasn't really talking to her. She's done it before but I was worried cause if he was real, you know? It wasn't the first time she done it but not as extreme as this. She's pretending he's real again and talking to her. It's really annoying me. She's my friend and she can be really nice but it's not just this. Her dad died and she uses it as a scape goat for everything. If you're arguing with her she brings it up. It's sad an all but it's unfair on me cause it makes me feel akward. I've had quite a hard time too and when I tried to tell her that she just kept using the dad card. She also doesn't keep my secrets. She's my friend and I want her to stay that but I don't know what to do. Help please!!!

She brings up her dad, tell her it is not your fault he died, and tell her you know that she is lying.

Sometimes you just got to let friends like that go sometimes. Or, be blunt with her. Give her an ultimatum. Let her know that you know she lies and if shes caught it another yalls friendship is over. Hope i helped

if she's not being a good friend then you should be a good friend and tell her that your uncomfortable with her lying all the time. If I were you I'd confront her about it and if she sees your point she would make an effort to change if not then I wouldn't be friends with her, especially if she's not keeping your secrets. You can find better people than that let alone friends. Honestly you either tell her or walk away because you don't time to waste listening to her bullshit.
Don't be afraid of how she'll react when you tell her! she's needs to come back down to earth! if you don't want to break your friendship with her then help snap out of it, true friends would help each other out!

You can’t fix your friend. I’m not even sure your advice is working. Apparently it isn’t. She needs professional help. But again, she has to make that decision. Pray for her is probably the best you can do for her.
