I was wondering if it costs to get your facebook notifications sent to you through a text on your mobile phone? i thought it was free until i got a pretty hefty bill through last month and wondered if it was this or not?
Also, i want to ask if it costs to update your status through text?

It is for me but I have unlimited texts and data.

No, if you are using facebook mobile it shouldn't cost anything to update you status or get status updates sent to you. Unless you are actually going online with your phone.

Depends on your provider's terms concerning text messaging rates. If you have an unlimited plan, you shouldn't be charged extra for the notification texts. I'd check with your service provider regarding their text rates. Good luck!
