Is someone told if their friend request on facebook is denied? - fatcable897 - 11-09-2012 07:18 PM

If I reject someone's friend request on facebook will they get a notification telling them the request was denied?

No you do not receive a notice if it is ignored.

no, but the person can look up request they've sent.
if they are no longer pending but no one added you, you know that you were denied.

Yes.

No they don't recieve any comment/message

Though they will know you rejected them, if they choose to add you again...because facebook has to ask you the question again, as the question is open again...if you know what I mean.

In general, if you don't want to reject or accept the request, do nothing more a while...and the request will just 'pend'

no they wont...
the only way they will know that you did deny it, is if in the near future they try to add you again as a friend, they wont be told there is already a 'request pending' (coz you will have denied it) it will say' a request has been sent' again
i hope this helps :o)
