Can Facebook settings stop your profile from noting every time you make any little comment? - Stuck in the Middle Ages - 11-09-2012 07:19 PM

I don't go on Facebook a lot. When I do, I often comment on someone's photo or status, etc. My profile page has a month's worth of "...commented on ...'s photo," "...commented on ...'s link," "...commented on ...'s status."

Thanks. It's not a big deal, but I wondered if I could make my profile screen (wall) look better by not having these things pop up on my wall automatically.

Yes, you can manage your settings so that your various comments don't appear as Recent Activity on your Wall.

Settings > Privacy (Click "manage") > News Feed and Wall

When here, simply uncheck the boxes next to the categorized activities (e.g., Comment on or like a video), so they won't display to your Wall.

Note: You can manually remove Recent Activity updates on your Wall by hovering your mouse to the right of its alloted space, where a "Remove" button will appear.

If you have trouble with this, or have any additional questions, you can hit me up on Twitter @bertwerd or my blog http://www.werdofbert.com
Hope this helped!
