i don't think there is privacy on the internet

Roxanna, I already knew that privacy on the internet was not happening. I also know Facebook is one of the worst places to be. What Facebook doesn't already know, they will find out.

Someone who's blind to reality. And yes, it IS scary. btw, GREAT video, Roxy!!! Thanks for posting it.

That's why I don't have any FB, Twitter... Y!A is THE one and only "social network" I'm "in". ☺

We have to accept that, if we put it out there in any way that is insecure or that can be connected back to us, it is effectively public knowledge. In being able to link back to us, even the stuff we purposely DIDN'T put out there becomes available to some people.

I worry about young people who give so much away, including nude pictures or confessions or angry rants. The young people will grow up and try to get jobs or university places and all that ancient garbage will remain available for anyone to search through.

We all do stupid things but I suppose failing to ensure our internet security should be one we try to avoid.

possible but highly improbable

ROXY,
I know that there is little privacy on the net. I have worked with computers for years. I remember when we networked ones together, then later the internet came in. Our switchers and routers had the ability do display everything that a person was doing, bit by bit, literally. And that was in the early 1980's.
I know things are more sophisticated now.

say it, forget it. internet it, regret it.

There is no such thing as privacy on the internet.
Post all your wacky behavior, illnesses, wants and needs and anyone willing to pay for the information can get it.
