My friend was supposed to buy me something from his credit card, he is in singapoor, he was really close to me etc, i put $20000 dollars in his account. The only means of contacting him that i have is facebook. Is there any way to check if he is really offline or just blocking me, cuz on the other days he is on most of the time. I'm really worried help please

you can give him message on facebook , or write on his/her wall, another options to connect by email . mail him.her...

Hmmm....sounds fishy to me. Have you ever actually met or spoken to this "friend" or is he just a Facebook account?
If you're "really close" don't you have a phone number to call or an e-mail address other than Facebook to reach him?

As of now,
I don't think you can block individuals from seeing if you're on facebook chat or not
You can either sign in to everyone on chat or you're not on fb chat
However,
If a person wants to ditch you altogether they can "Unfriend" or "Block" you from their account
Both instances removes you from chat
