I want to follow this girl on twitter but her account is private. How could I get her to let me follow her?

just click 'follow' then it says a request has been sent for you to follow 'girls name' its twitter its not stalkng.com i follow loads of people but not literally follow them

Get to know her in real life, and then say something like "hey, I saw you have a twitter and you're fun to talk to. Can I follow you?"

Simply follow it. Many people are happy to have followers and she's not going to assume anything from a simple request.
However, if she doesn't accept, it may just be because what she posts there is a bit too private. It doesn't mean that she thinks you're weird or anything.
