Just wondering, does anyone know how I could start a IM conversation over facebook with this girl I like? We both go to the same school, but we aren't in any classes together, I mainly know her from the year before and we still talk every now and again. I'm thinking of asking her out, or at least getting the process in motion. So how could I start a conversation, without sounding too needy or annoying?
Any help would be great, thanks.

just be nice and start small talk. then that'll become a conversation about something. be sincere when you talk and sound like you like her. keep talking everyday and when you finally start being really good friends just ask her out.

Ask her if she knows how to make the heart icon that people always use on facebook. When she asks you why you want to know, just say your little cousin or sister asked you. It'll make you look sweet. Then just talk about something funny that happened at school. Good luck!
