I know it usually means I have those people that I am getting the notifications from marked as close friends but I have checked and THOSE PEOPLE ARENT MARKED AS CLOSE FRIENDS!
I dont know how to stop getting these annoying notifications.

Go to their profile and unmark them from close friends, the button is related just below the cover photo and it looks like a yellow star followed by the word friend, click on it and select your desired option.
