My girlfriend just doesnt compare to what this other girl does for me.
My girlfriend just isn't as fun and isn't obsessed with me like this other girl.
What do I tell her over facebook.

At least have decency to do it face to face and in private.

You can't tell her over facebook, you have to tell her in person.
Just tell her exactly what you put, but not as harsh. Say you have fallen for someone else and she makes you feel different and you want to break up.
Obsession seems like a bad thing, but if your gf isn't giving you enough attention, this girl might seem like she is obsessing, when in fact, she is giving you her full attention.

If you are really sure you want to dump your girlfriend at least have the maturity to do it face to face.
Over facebook???? It really tells someone that you didn't care for them at all.
If you are really really really sure (please, give this some thought and do what's best for you) tell the complete truth. DO NOT go down the lines of "It's not you, it's me".

by current bf had to tell his gf (well now ex) that he was in love with me and he chose to do it in person.

Dump her. It doesn't matter how or where. Do it in whatever way is convenient for you.
And don't worry about giving her an explanation. That would just complicate things.
