Okay I know this sounds stupid, but I sent a friend request to my brother in laws wife. Every time I send the request, that button you hit to send the request goes back to say "add friend" instead of saying "friend request sent." So I guess I'm wondering if she denied me because all my other requests say pending or sent...I hope I didn't do anything to offend her, which I'm pretty sure I didn't..People are funny sometimes.

yes, that's what it means - she denied it - she probably just doesnt want you to see the stuff she makes friends only - some people are just like that
