I still want to be able to view facebook but how can I cancel the notification on my phone part? The notification thing is unchecked on my phone and it still alerts me.

When you log in to your facebook, on the top right it says account. Click on it then account settings. Click on notifications and click on edit to whichever ones you want to stop. Hope this helps!

I found that the best answer was the business end of twenty tons of plastic explosive. My personal favourite would be C-4 as it is more stable and more powerful than Semtex yet is also more easy to control the effective destruction. However it is up to personal preference, both will get the job done.
Keeping Facebook would be a waste of time anyway, may as well just blow up everything and if you do it quick enough and don't give it much thought you won't feel as bad when you realise what you've done.

1-Go to your facebook on your BB
2-Click the menu key (The one with the Blackberry logo on it)
3-Click "Options"
4-Scroll down and uncheck the box next to "Facebook Notifications"
5-Click the meny key again and click "Save"
