yeah, its pretty normal even for people without diabetes or friends that have it to join causes like that.
nothing wrong with showing your support, even if you didnt have a brother with diabetes.

No, you're joining for a good cause and you're supporting your lil brother; so who gives a damn if people see you joining JDRF on FB and Myspace.

It's commendable that you want to support your brother. I'd say it's above normal.
