I've had it for a couple months, but I just feel stupid writing to 9 followers!? It just seems pointless.
It's @someerr if anyone feels like helping me out (:
But yes, any suggestions? I know there isn't that much you can do, but I thought I'd ask anyways..

You need to give people a reason to follow you. If you have 1 update a week, for instance, and it's just to complain about the weather then nobody will want to follow you. Sports people, actors, musicians etc have thousands of followers because their fans want kept up to date on what they are doing etc. If you are just a normal person (ie, not famous) then you can really only expect your friends to follow you.
If you have regularly update with something worth reading, you will quickly gain followers. If you use twitter just for some social networking... you shouldnt expect a huge number of followers.

If you want more followers; just follow who is going to follow you back, do this:
1 - Follow @TeamAutoFollow - To get you in the list (see next)
2 - Follow the team - (see the list at http://teamautofollow.com/ – follow as many as you would like, we all follow back)
For extra followers:
- Include #TeamAutoFollow in your post (as often as possible)
- Include #TeamAutoFollow in your Bio (You can do this at the end of it, people are more prompt to follow when they know that you will follow back)
- RT and follow @TeamAutoFollow Tweets (a little help once in awhile is appreciated)
- Comeback everyday for a #ShoutOut
