How to be put on a childs birth certificate? - Emily - 11-09-2012 07:56 PM If you have signed a statutory declaration saying you are the father of a child, as the mother has requested child support, does that mean he can be put on the birth certificate without consent from the mother ? The mother has stopped him from seeing his daughter, but now expects child support. He wants to be put on the birth certificate so he can have access to his daughter, but she won't agree to it. You can be required to pay support and yet have no access rights UNLESS he has petitioned for it in the courts.
