There are much more fans on youtube/facebook/twitter for nba than nfl and mlb. I love nba more than any other sport but I hate how it is less viewed.

Internet support numbers mean nothing, its all about the global fans. NBA has way more global fans than the other 2.
I for one don't follow any sport on Facebook/Twitter.

some time I don't trust the numbers on internet Media.
fact is: NBA is 2nd fav sports in USA after NFL.
and Basketball is 2nd fav sports in the world behind Soccer.
