you can delete account last forever or just deactivate it & reactivate it again

if you log within 14 days after deleting your account won't be delete.
to deactivate
account-->account settings-->deactivate

You go to settings, then scroll down to account settings. Then there will be a new page then you just scroll all the way down and it will say "deactivate your account." Then you have to go back to Yahoo and confirm that you are deleting your account.
