Are people notified when you remove yourself from an event? (Private or not)
I'm not well-acquainted with the people in an event, and decided to leave it altogether. Unfortunately, when you remove yourself you can't access the page again (Since it's a private event, I'm guessing). My question is, does it give anyone a notification, or does it say anything like "(Random person) has left the event" On the event wall/newsfeed?
I hope this question made sense, thanks in advance!

No it will not notify anyone if you simply left the event. If you marked not attending then yes, it will show up on the side saying not going; with a list of people. As well as if you were to mark attending you would be under that list but it doesn't actually make a notification.
